On Saturday (6 August 2022), we stepped back in time to re-witness the official opening of Prestonpans Town Hall! After 125 years, Richard Haldane MP once more took to the stage and delivered his address, congratulating the citizens on their fine new hall!
The recreateed ceremony was the highlight of our Victorian Weekend, which not only celebrated the role the Town Hall building has played in our community’s past but also its rennaissance this year as it re-opened to the public as the new Battle of Prestonpans Jacobite Museum.
