Friday 15 March – Sunday 17th March, 11am-4pm

Discover stories from around the world and across the centuries, told in over 300 hand-stitched embroidery panels. This exhibition provides a rare opportunity to view the whole of the Scottish Diaspora Tapestry in one location as the tapestry begins its 10th anniversary tour.

Exploring themes of migration, trade, exploration and innovation, the Scottish Diaspora Tapestry is a beautiful and heart-felt homage to the determination, courage and achievement of Scottish migrants and their descendants. Designed by Andrew Crummy and stitched by thousands of hands around the world, the panels of the tapestry reveal stories from 35 countries covering centuries of Scotland’s international connections.

The exhibition will be on display in Dalkeith Palace for three days, so don’t miss out!
