We are delighted to announce our programme of events marking the 280th anniversary of the battle.
Combining activities both on-location around the battlefield, and maximising the facilities of our fantastic museum, we are proud to present two days of costumed interpretation, commemoration, craft and storytelling.
Jacobites and redcoats from the Alan Breck Volunteer Regiment will be joining us, as well as local storytellers Catching the Past. There’ll also be music from award-winning Gaelic singer Rena Gertz, and Fiona Johnston. All this on top of our special display of the entire Prestonpans Tapestry, creating a memorable and fitting weekend to mark this important historical milestone.
