We are just days away from Scotland’s second nationwide Jacobite Festival, a collaborative initiative led by the Battle of Prestonpans (1745) Heritage Trust. The week-long programme features events at the West Highland Museum, Glenfinnan Monument, the National Museum of Scotland, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Fingask Castle, and many more places besides. Walking tours of the three big battles of The ’45 – Prestonpans, Falkirk and Culloden – are all on offer, as well as a wide range of activities, talks, tours and exhibitions. The full programme can be found on the Jacobite Scotland website here.
