Re-enactment

On the 21st and 22nd September 2007 the Battle of Prestonpans 1745 will be re-enacted to comemorate the anniversary of Bonnie Prince Charlie's victory. The day will include entertainment, battle information and chance to recreate the spectacle and some of the drama. Authenticity is provided in the many replica props and clothing worn by those partaking as it attempts to accurately recreate the strategy and the scenes of that day in 1745.

The 250th Anniversary of the battle was celebrated at the 2005 re-enactment, please visit this section for more information and photos.
